Get setup for the audit in 3 easy steps.
Hi team!
I've found an awesome exercise that I'd like us to run as a team. Have you ever wondered how much time we spend in meetings? Or which of us has the best technique for managing free time? Or wanted to take a hacksaw to a particularly ineffective meeting?
Today, we’ll be taking a look at our team meetings and hopefully making a few changes in the name of effectiveness. The exercise will ask us each to import our calendars into this doc (don't worry - you can exclude whichever events you want).
Everyone get started!

Step 1: Join the audit.

Step 2: Sync your calendar.

After this point, things will be easy, but this step is important to get right. The goal here is for every team member to add their calendar information to the doc so their events can be included in the calendar sync. This info will be available to all participants, but you can exclude whatever you like. Instructions below on how to limit which events are included.

Each team member should open the doc from their own computer, and follow these steps:
Click “edit” in the table below to open the side panel.
Look through the 10 sync entries and find one that has not been taken. Then select Account to add your account. Click through to accept the Google Calendar permissions.
Click Sync now, and your calendar events should show up in the table below (be patient, could take a couple minutes).
For each event you’d like to leave out of the audit, click the Exclude from analysis? checkbox.

Common issues:
Sync failed - disconnect your account and try again.
Not enough syncs - add another (see instructions in ).
Date ranges are different - double check that you’ve connected your date range with the date picker above.
Search criteria doesn’t work. Go
for help. Also try it out on to test the search query manually.

Step 3: Check your calendar events.

This is what sync’d for your calendar; see the list view below as well. If you see meetings you’d like to exclude, click the checkbox in the Exclude from analysis? column.
