People with the dyslexic neurotype struggle to parse written language. Though this neurotype can often come with associated shame, it’s important to understand the underlying mechanics: dyslexic people process information so quickly that their eyes can’t keep up.
It’s not that they’re “stupid”, whatever that means. It’s that their brains are working so fast that written text trips them up because they have to slow down so much to make sense of it. Imagine how frustrating that would be!
